I know you live to dance. I know dancing is your shinning light that makes everything bearable. I know that it infects your body, but guess what else is infecting your body right now? That’s right, a nasty ass virus. Do you remember how you got it? No? Funny, because I’ll know how I’ll get it. I’ll get sick from your unhygienic hand whipping down the entire room with your sick gross germs. Thanks, I really wanted to be sick too and just looking at you, wow, I’m going to get really sick. Good thing attending this dance class just to get your cold is what I live for.
We live in a dance society, remember? Living in a society does not mean that we all bow and break our backs to raise you up in your personal petri dish that will shower down all of your contagions on us. It does not mean that you get to sweat out your germs on people you claim to respect. A society can enable its members to benefit in ways that would not otherwise be possible on an individual basis, infecting your entire class and teacher with your sick is not a contribution that will bring us all up. It is just SERIOUSLY NOT COOL! No one is going to question your commitment if you miss a class due to illness. In fact you are only going to be revered for your sensitivity for the health of OTHERS!
By attending a class sick and spreading an otherwise easily containable infection to others you have crossed into a vortex of self centeredness and egotism that is reserved for people like the Kardashians and in the Spinning Dancers America, actions like that are be punishable by law. I’d not only fine you but also quarantine you to your place of living.
Stay home sick-o and don’t doom others to your fate. I’m sorry that you got sick but just because someone got you sick, doesn’t mean that it is your divine right to infect others. Be responsible for yourself, take care of yourself and you’ll get better faster (If you don’t get better sooner, then see a doctor, or a health care professional; someone who is not your dance teacher). You’re miserable cause you are sick and we can all relate, but we don’t want to relate right now, at this moment or at anytime in the coming weeks.
Stop the cycle!
This has been another Public Service Announcement from The Spinning Dancer.
